The voluminous front crossover detail can be worn open and loose or tied at the front, with a longer flat belt included for styling versatility. Material

100% Organic Cotton

This fabric has a smooth, matte surface with a structured form giving the final garment a sophisticated, crisp appearance. Cotton fabrics are cool, comfortable and breathable.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility. Cotton is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from India.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This dress has a slightly more oversized fit to allow for more fabric to draw in for a statement-making proportion when tied around the waist. If you prefer a less voluminous silhouette, you could choose to go down a size.
