Material

Rubberised Metal/Resin

We use a variety of techniques to make this rubberised metal parts of this piece, include casting, polishing and high-quality plating. The result is a super light, fine finish.

The metal used in ELK jewellery is nickel free and meets the EU REACH standards. It can be recycled through kerbside recycling in many areas, or through specialist metal recyclers.

Our resin is a synthetic polymer resin. It is non-toxic, contains no acrylic and is distinguished by its durability and longevity.

Maker

This style was made by Korean company Cielo Sereno at the factory that they work with, located in Qingdao, China. Cielo is owned and operated by Eun Hee Kim who we know as Olive. She is an incredible, creative woman with a young family who established her business in 2004 after she graduated from Central Saint Martins School of Fashion in London.

As they operate as an agent for us, we are actively working with Olive to increase transparency across the entire operation. Olive works directly with the factory each month conveying our designs and ensuring our vision is brought to life.
