Our Jaana Tee is a classic crew neck t-shirt made from hemp and organic cotton. A lightweight slub finish fabric with a slightly textural feel, the Jaana Tee is soft to touch. A great layering option, it can be worn on its own or as a layering piece. Slightly longer in length, the tee looks great tucked in or untucked depending on your chosen look.

Material
55% Hemp 45% Organic Cotton
This classic jersey fabric is soft, breathable and comfortable to wear. Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.
Hemp has a beautiful, natural texture similar to linen. Modern production techniques result in a hemp fibre that is soft while still very strong and durable. Hemp requires minimal water, fertilisers or pesticides to grow, making it a more environmentally responsible option.
This hemp is grown directly by the fabric mill, Hemp Fortex, and processed using a natural retting process to soften the stems of the hemp plant without the use of chemicals.
The fibres in this blend are renewable and biodegradable. The organic cotton for this fabric was sourced from Turkey and India.
Maker
This garment was made by Hemp Fortex, who have been working with us since 2019. Hemp Fortex was founded in 1999, and their head office is in Qingdao, China with manufacturing at their Rushan Factory in Weihei, China. We chose to partner with Hemp Fortex due to their impressive environmentally sustainable practices. They are a vertically integrated manufacturer which allows them full transparency and stewardship over every aspect of production. They work primarily with hemp which they grow and process themselves, as well as organic cotton, recycled polyester and TENCEL™ lyocell.
Alongside their commitment to fair and safe working conditions, they are reducing their environmental footprint through a range of initiatives including roof-top solar which provides between 70% - 100% of their electricity. They use only EU approved dyes and chemicals in the dyeing and finishing and carefully monitor and control wastewater.
Hemp Fortex is WRAP accredited, a member of the Fair Wear Foundation, and have completed the Sustainable Apparel Coalition HIGG Index factory module.
Size and Fit
Designed as a regular fit with a straight shape throughout the body and a slightly longer length. The key fit points to check for best size are the bust, hem and the length.
All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
