Product Details

Our Lanna Long Necklace is a classic, organic ELK style crafted from sustainable timber. Wooden, cylinder beads and a contrast plated metal bead are suspended on a wax cord with a bead loop closure. Our wooden jewellery is hand crafted from sustainable plantation timber and made in Cebu, Philippines, by a family owned workshop who have collaborated with ELK since 2004.

Material & Makers Notes

This piece is 100% handmade in Cebu, Philippines by a family owned workshop called Earthworks who have collaborated with ELK since 2004. Crafted from sustainable plantation timber, each bead is hand cut, shaped, dyed and then polished with a natural wax-based product and the finished piece are extremely light.

Christine the owner runs an incredible business whose team is made up mostly of women. They have wonderful skills, training and health program initiatives in place which you can learn more about here.

For our timber jewellery we have managed to trace our supply chain back to the farm which is unique. With Christine the owner of Earthworks assistance we have mapped all materials, trims and third party contributors.
