The perfect palette is printed on subtly textured fabric on the Limma Shirt Dress. One of our best selling shapes with a flowing easy fit, this is a piece that can be worn as a dress or layered over pants or jeans as a duster style jacket. The fabric is lightweight and breathable making it perfect for warmer days and the gentle shaping of the waist brings subtle body definition to the piece. The curved, gathered pockets add extra detail as well.

Material

100% TENCEL™ Lyocell

This smooth surface fabric has a soft drape and a subtle twill texture. Similar to a chambray, the finished fabric is lightweight and breathable.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are derived from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.

The fibres used in this blend are renewable and biodegradable.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

The dress is a regular fit around the bust and the waist and then moves into a fuller skirt. The key fit points to check for best size are in the bust, waist and length.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
