The Mostro Shirt Dress is a relaxed, versatile style which can be styled numerous ways throughout the year. The silhouette has a kaftan-like shape, with wide cuffs, lightweight fabric and a slight batwing sleeve to add to the laidback fit. This versatile dress can be worn as a dress with a slip, as a shirt jacket over pants or jeans, or tied in at the waist with the a scarf for numerous styling options.

Material

70% ECOVERO™ Viscose & 30% Viscose Rayon

Lightweight and breathable, this fabric features fine crinkle texture while remaining soft to the touch and is well suited to trans-seasonal wear. It is a great fabric with a lovely hand feel and nice, fluid movement. Viscose has a beautiful drape, a smooth feel and a breathability that is perfect in summer or worn under layers in winter. Please follow the care instructions on your garment so you can wear for many seasons to come.

Contains LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres, derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certifed and controlled sources.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres have been certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The manufacturing of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg MSI™ tools, CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average.

A special manufacturing system enables LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres to be identified in the final product, even after long textile processing and conversion steps through the value chain.

The fibres used in this blend are renewable and biodegradable.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This dress has been designed for more of a relaxed, kaftan-style fit. We recommend taking your usual size in keeping with the oversized fit, but if you prefer a neater fit you can choose to go down a size, but be sure to check the key fit points in the arm and in the body length.

Care Instructions

The fabric used to make this garment has a lovely, slight crinkle finish. When viscose is washed the water will cause it to naturally shrink and crinkle more. Once it has dried use an iron to flatten the fabric out and return it to its original length and finish.
