The Tia Dress is the quintessential light, high summer dress, made from semi-sheer, luxurious French linen. The versatile design features cleverly-designed, fixed shoulder straps and an elasticated bust which has adjustable gathers to create volume wherever is most flattering on the body. Flowing to a flattering A-line silhouette, the dress features handy side pockets and is fully lined. It can be easily styled with a waist belt to create a more dramatic silhouette.

Material

100% French Linen 

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This dress has a reasonably flexible fit thanks to the A-line shape and elasticated top. The most important fit measurement to reference is the bust. We recommend taking your usual size.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
