SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Christmas Delivery 

To guarantee delivery before Christmas, we suggest placing your order on or before the following dates depending on the location of your shipping address:

  • International: 14th of December
  • Australia PO Boxes and NT: 14th of December
  • Australia Regional: 17th of December
  • Australia Metro: 18th of December

Although we express ship all orders when possible, we are unable to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas for any orders placed outside of the dates provided. To ensure speedy delivery, we recommend providing a business address where possible or providing clear delivery instructions in the ‘Special Instructions’ section of the shopping cart when ordering. We also recommend using the tracking details emailed to you upon the dispatch of your parcel to follow its progress.

For an eco-friendly present or those hard to buy for, why not give an ELK Gift Voucher this Christmas? It will be instantly emailed to you, which you can print or forward onto the recipient by email. This e-gift voucher can be used on the ELK website or in our Melbourne retail stores. 

Shipping within Australia

ELK offers a flat rate shipping fee of $10.00 AUD to all Australian addresses for all online orders.

Your order will be delivered by the most appropriate service as nominated by ELK during the business week.

A tracking number will be issued via e-mail to the e-mail address you provide which will enable you to track the progress of your parcel once it is booked.
We will use either StarTrack Express or Australia Post as a chosen carrier to deliver your order. We will deliver to P.O. Boxes and Northern Territory addresses with Australia Post.

We will generally deliver to all residential and business addresses with Star Track Express. Please contact us if you would like to request Australia Post to deliver your parcel.

Please note: Star Track Express does not require a signature upon delivery. If the delivery address is unattended, the parcel may be left in a location deemed safe by the driver. If no such location can be found, redelivery will be arranged. Your parcel may be taken to your local Post Office or Depot for collection.

We use StarTrack Express, Australia Post or FedEx services for delivery. Depending on the delivery location please allow the following times:

StarTrack Express is used for Australian metropolitan addresses. Please allow 1 - 3 working days for delivery. For regional or outer metro areas this could be extended to 5 working days.

Australia Post is used for P.O. Boxes, non Metropolitan areas and Northern Territory. Please allow 2-7 working days for delivery.

Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disaster, strike, transport complications etc.

It is your responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address and contact details. A current contact number, as well as any additional information such as ideal delivery times or safe leaving locations, should be provided in order to avoid multiple delivery attempts. Multiple delivery attempts or parcel re-direction may incur an additional fee which will be billed to you by the delivery service provider.

International Shipping

FedEx is used for International addresses, please allow 2-5 working days for delivery. We recommend a business address for delivery.
Shipping rate is a flat $15.00 to all International addresses.

PO Boxes are not accepted.

Please note: We are unable to deliver to Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Russia or Brazil.
Australian law requires the value of the parcel to be declared for all international online orders.

The recipient may incur duties and taxes which are imposed by the local government in the destination country. The recipient will be contacted by Fed Ex if this is the case after the goods have been received. These costs are outside of ELK's control and are not included in the purchase price. The duties for every country are different and can change on a regular basis.

International Gifts

If you are sending a gift overseas and do not want the recipient to incur any additional expenses please contact us to calculate the duties and you can nominate to pay these on the recipient's behalf. You must do this prior to the parcel being dispatched. Please make a comment in the 'Special Instructions' section to this effect and we will email/phone your confirmation. Tracking Your Online Order

You will receive an email confirming the dispatch of your order. This email will provide a tracking number which can be used to track the progress of your parcel. If you would like help tracking your parcel please contact Customer Service via email at customerservice@elkthelabel.com or phone +613 9478 1800 between 9.00am to 5.00pm weekdays.

In-store pick up options

You can pick up your order from our City Store, located at 182 Little Collins Street, Melbourne, or our Preston Store, located at 395 Plenty Road, Preston, Victoria. You can select this option in the checkout procedure. Our store opening hours can be found here. You will not be charged for shipping and will be contacted when your order is ready for collection, this may take 1-2 business days.
